Second Christmas Parade Dec 2010

 Hey well It's been a little bit since the parade but anyway the Bartow Parade went great didn't get very many photos but here are some... Some of the Pics messed up sorry...

Hey going to be taking Buddy into his first Christmas parade tomorrow I know he will be great...  Wish us luck and send good Calm thoughts out way..  I will have a update on how he did and photos of it..

A long time away...

Okay it's been a long time since I have put anything up but I'm back and we have a lot to catch up on...  So I last said that I was going to the 2010 Parelli event in Jacksonville Fl, well I did and it was amazing...  I sadly didn't get to take Buddy and I have A really bad cold just a few days before I went and I still wasn't in the best feeling while there until the last day I started feeling really good and didn't want to go home, but under the weather still had a great time met a new friend ( Abby) and got to see my mentor ( Pete) that I never get to see..  After the event it took me about a week to really get back into things with my partners because I would get tired really fast and my parents told me it was because how bad I had the cold my body is tired but as soon as I could I was back out there playing...  right about that time I had a Halloween parade that I took my new Paint baby filly Jade in I was an Indian and she was my Indian horse I know you see that a lot but I kinda ran out of time for a really good one because of what I had been doing before then, anyway she did great.. Took her to my friend Cherie's house and bathed her for the first time that went awesome, groomed her up and put paint on her ( safe for horses) and Put feathers in her mane and tail also her tail was braided half the way...  Here she is.


 

I love her soo much...

So after that I have just been playing around and having a good time...  More later.

Up date time....

Okay it's been awhile since I have put anything on here so sorry for that...  It's been going great All the horses are awesome.  Jade is getting very good with her L1 online.  Buddy and me are starting to acted like partners now it's a great feeling...  Jesse is doing awesome as well I have ridden him Bareback and bridle-less not to long ago and he did great.  The other day I even got up on Buddy with just a neck rope and my carrot stick and he did pretty good I don't think it looked good at first but he got it.  I am getting Jade ready for a Halloween parade on the 28th of this month I am so happy I am doing lots of stuff with her to get her ready, I am going as a Indian and she is going to be my Indian horse since she is a paint, I will have picks after it. so keep in touch......  I am going to Jacksonville next weekend for a Parelli event I am very happy about that I really wish I could take Buddy but I am not able to sadly :( ...  Well that's all for now please comment.

Jade news

Okay it's been awhile but everybody is great...  Jade is doing awesome I have had her for a month now yay..  I put the Saddle on her and I can not get that baby to buck she just acts like it's no big deal.. so that went great..  She has all of a sudden come up with these warts around her lips and like 2 on her shoulder.  so I found out that some baby's get that and that it most of the time goes away on it's own but then you can take olive oil and garlic and put that on there 2-3 times a day and it should go away in like 10 days - 2 wks..

Bartow Arena

I took Jesse and Jade over to the Bartow arena for a birthday party..  Buddy wasn't able to go so I took Jesse,  even though he is 30 he did great he didn't act 30.  I took Jade so she can get used to everything now and not when I first ride her.  We had a great time,  I met a few friends and did barrels on my 30 yr old mustang/Quarter Horse.  He did win anything but he tryed his heart out for me....  we did egg races it was awesome, I didn't win that because Jesse has sush a bumpy trot, we did barrel games,  we rode My friend Cherie's wild pony that was fun.  We did this game where me,Cherie, and Jessica had to hold toilet paper and ride and not drop/break it.  we did really good until we had to back up and Cherie's horse Levi decided he didn't like the toilet paper lol it was sooo much fun....  had a great time got there at 3 didn't leave till 9:30... wow what fun.

Hey today went pretty good with Jesse and Jade...  I played with Jesse online and some at liberty..  On-line we did circling at a walk that's Jesse's favorite with him being a LBI..   But I dropped my 22' line and he did circles, (Kinda close to me).  So then I did some sideways trying to get him to get out and away from me going sideways.  Lets see then I played stick to me at Liberty, doing walk, trot, stop, back up transitions.  then I tryed to get him to bow but I don't know if I will ever get him there,  with him being 30.  He has a nice body to be 30 yrs old, but I'm not sure is he ever will bow or lay down for me...  Other then that everything went really well.

Now with Jade.  we did HQ driving,  and circling she did really well,  she even offered a walk when I sent her into it.  then I asked for a walk,trot,walk,trot,canter,trot and she did really well the I asked her to walk again and that was when she was like I don't know if I can I'm ganna trot with my head up and go right brain so I started doing pattern interruption, and she went back to LB.  so then I put the bareback pad on here for the second time, I cinched it up nise and snug and sent her into a circle,  she trotted then I asked her to canter, I then asked her to walk and she did it wasn't a very good transition but she did it...  So in my last post I said I tied the bare back pad to her head well today I sat it on top of her ears/head and she just sat there like NO BIGGIE.  I was sooo happy....  So I wet her down (she was really sweaty) and put her up..


Now I'm about to go feed everybody,  I will keep yall up dated,  if I can ever get this thing to link up so people can see it..

Boy was the day with the baby tuff

I played with Jade my 1 yr old paint baby filly..  we are doing a lot of desensitizing and we are learning the 7 games.  she is LBE/RBI/RBE now that is something to play with.  she pops back and forth all the time...  so I took my bare back pad on her, I rubbed her all over, then I strapped it to here and sent her in a circle, I was waiting for her to buck but NO!!! she didn't she trotted which she loves to do her next favorite is cantering so I asked her to do that she did, then I asked her to walk now that's a hard one but she walked...  So then I was rubbing it all over her and I decided to rub it over her head well she didn't like that so I played approach and retreat..  When I thought she was ready I took and strapped it to her head to where she could see our of her right eye but her left eye was covered by the pad, her ears and everything was covered...  She out smarted me a few times and got it off BUT I DID IT!!! I got it on and it stayed on.  I asked her to circle and she didn't like that very much but she finely calmed down and went left brain and walked in a circle both ways..  I took it off and it fell to the ground, then she smelled it and licked her lips then she started PAWING IT!! that's the curious baby coming out.. LOL.  I love her soo much she's great.  So to finish I took her and rinsed her from toe to head.  hehe. That had to feel good.  I will keep you up dated.
